DMC Classic Solo Showcase DJ Competition
Established in 1985, the DMC Classic Solo Showcase DJ Competition is our traditional format, inviting DJs to compete for the prestigious title: DMC Classic World Champion.
DMC Classic Format
A. How It Works
-
- National Eliminations
DJs must perform a 2-minute qualifying routine and can enter in one of two ways:
Online Submission: Upload a recorded performance to your branch’s website.
Live Performance: Compete at a national event (check with your local DMC branch for details).
A panel of judges will select the top 6-10 finalists, who will compete in the final round.
-
- National Finals
DJs perform a 6-minute solo showcase.
The winner is crowned DMC Classic National Champion of their country/region.
-
- World Finals
Eliminations / Seeding: DJs perform a 2-minute solo showcase. Judges select the Top 10 to advance.
Finals: DJs perform a 6-minute solo showcase.
The winner of each DMC Classic National Final and DMC Wildcard competes for the DMC Classic World Champion title.
